    Re: NETGEAR WG311

Here is what I found about this topic in the NETGEAR forum :

    "
From what I searched the only excuse is one given by a certain mod, that win 64 is too 'bugged'...why this is a reason to wait? No idea. This topic is fruitless. In the other topic a post by somebody protesting was deleted and this whole topic might vanish as well. Ironic isn't it? On the one hand a company wants feedback on the other they delete it so the public cannot see. I was actually going to ignore this whole thing since I'll simply get another company card now, but I have to laugh once more about the behavior of deleting post and not giving explanations. Oh yeah when I was looking at the things I've got along with it: It promised me full windows xp support. Huh, so windows xp 64 is not windows xp? Well what am I writing for, this get censored anyways."

My opinion about NETGEAR was lowered because I did have a lot of trouble with WGT624 which freezes too much when I had a simple ADSL connection. With my Freebox this trouble is gone now.

But with that kind of response from NETGEAR, I wouldn't buy any of their products now.

    Best regards.

    Yes Netgear are useless.
But their are atheos drivers out their that work perfectly on x64.
So even if netgear don't give a dam you can still use your equipment should you have been caught out.
