Installing Xp64 on IDE master 1 - not seeing Xp32 install on SATA Master 0

Hi, Ive installed XP64 on my 40gb IDE drive, but I neglected to install any SATA drivers at the time. It has installed okay but If i choose to have IDE as my primary drive in BIOS it does not see my 120gb Maxtor SATA drive at all. All my programs etc are obviously on my XP 32bit install.

I can format and reinstall XP64 on the IDE drive again if required.

What process should I undertake on reinstalling?  I assume I need to press F6 to install the 64 bit SATA drivers BUT on which drive?

Sorry but totally confused.  Any help would be appreciated.

System - Sapphire RS482MK9-A64S skt 939 mobo, 120gb Maxtor Sata drive, 40gb Toshiba IDE drive, 1gb ocz value Ram, Amd 3600 x2 Athlon cpu, Nvidia 7300gt ddr3.

 2nd Point...........I am just about to upgrade to Sapphire Crossfire Advantage mobo PC-A9RD480Adv, so know im gonna need more help cos i will need new drivers..............any help in anticipation? Ive found Sil3114 drivers etc just need a few more pointers

 I have a 2 year old dell xp that I installed xp pro x64 on. My orig bios settings were set to Raid / Achi or something. I had to set it to combination SATA/PATA to get the driver recognised. However, you can also use a tool called nlite which will allow you to add the sata drivers that you need to make a custom install disk. I had done this as well so I could use my raid setup from dell.

So to use Nlite, find your sata drivers and extract them. Then start nlite ( http://www.nliteos.com/ ) and follow the tutorial on thier site to add the drivers to create your custom install disk. This way, you won't have to press F6, it will just use the new drivers from the disk.

If you do have a floppy disk though, you don't need nlite, you'll just have to put your sata drivers on the floppy. I don't have a floppy disk so nlite was my only option.
