Over the years we have had a couple of Intel Desktop boards in the lab, usually these are high-end parts that are designed for the enthusiast and are able to show off the performance of whatever Intels latest CPU is. Today we have something a little different. We have a G45 based Micro-ATX board that seems to us to only fit in the entry level or HTPC market. However, since we have been talking about AMDs 780G chipset lately we thought it would be a good idea to give Intel its time in the spotlight. So today we present our findings on the Intel DG45ID G45 mainboard.
